2 delayed flights to and from Bali. Very little notice given, under 24hours makes it near impossible for you to change and they do nothing so they always leave it until the last minute to tell you there is 'maintenance' delaying the flight.
The 1st was 8 hour delay meaning we lost a full day, could not get a transfer or any help from jetstar. Phone staff very rude, no doubt because all they deal with are complaints about their terrible service.
When we finally arrived in Bali we waited 2 hours for luggage.. no one with information for us as to why it was taking so long or if it was ever going to turn up. A very long and wasted day.
On the way back our flight got delayed twice. A total of 6 hours in the end, meaning we landed at 3am! not convenient for having to travel home and work the next day. Honestly felt bad for all the families with small kids having to travel at this time.
As for an international flight, their seat space is small, you have to pay for meals and entertainment. Never have I been on an international flight and had to pay to watch TV. We waited over an hour just to get some water, when you ask the staff for anything on or off the flight they treat you like crap and make you wait for everything.
None of the numbers to contact them worked from Bali and there online service is just as terrible as the phones.
I sent a complaint in 10 days ago to all the emails listed on this site and still no response, they tell you to fill out their online form which I have also done but this was not working for a while. and they say 15 days! for a response from that.
If you do fly with them make sure you check with your airport parking for overstay fees because you will probably need extra time.
This is the first time I have felt the need for such a complaint but Jetstar really are the worst and I would advise anyone to pay a bit extra for a better and more reliable service. I will never fly with them again.
