Cancellation ,Putting On different Carrier and then delayed - All day spent on Airport :-((

My flight JQ 986 Syd - Per Flying at 7.10 a.m and reaching at the destination at 10.15 a.m got cancelled by jetstar .According to their policy

They did not send me any update about flight and at the airport they put me on other flight with Virgin Australia,flying at 13.05 in the after noon. and Jetstar service Desk Person advised me that " Don't go for check in gate earlier than 15 -20 mintutes else they will not have your detail ".

When I get to check in gate at 12.40, virgin Australia advised me that i can't check in now and they will put me on next flight flying at 17.30 for free of cost .I accepted the offer with the deep frustration and waited for 17.30 flight for all day long at the airport.But at the end moments this flight got delayed and Virgin advised us that "we would not be able to fly untill 20.00 p.m and will get to Perth at 23.15.

I was tired and spend all my day at the Sydney airport with frustration and in a hope that in the end i would get home.I could not start my work in the sunday evening and lost my wages and Jetstar saying that " They cant do much about this " What a Shame :-((((

My brother had 2 flights

My brother had 2 flights booked to Vietnam, worth about $1.000 , he had a stroke nearly six weeks ago, has not been able to work, is not allowed to drive, and has many appointments with the hospital for tests to be done. We approached Jetstar with many phone calls, after they first changed his flights ( he could not make those flights) and then after his medical condition. We got a different story everytime and so far he only got $250 back for compassionate reasons. That money is in vouchers and has to be used within 3 months. we will never deal with Jetstar again, and whoever reads this I suggest that you don't either, don't trust them with your money and your time.....
