Holding Pattern Delay

On a flight from Sydney to Melbourne we left five minutes early. Closer to Melbourne the Pilot said that ATC had placed us in a holding pattern for 20 minutes. So we sat there waiting with the Captain reassuring us every five minutes that it won't be too long. When the were cleared to make an approach we were told that there were windy gusts of up to 60 km per hour and it wasn't surprising with how bumpy it was. The pilot made an absolute ripper of a landing(I'm a pilot, I'd know). Disembarked within five minutes of arriving at the gate. Despite 20 minutes in a holding pattern we were 5 minutes early. All ground crew, flight crew, flight attendants were cheerful. Have flown this airline many times and they have set a very high standard. I would still probably prefer Virgin Blue however Jetstars fares are cheaper providing excellent value for money.
