Jetstar owes me $40 . One day I'll get it back from them. In the mean time I'll never fly Jetstar!

A couple of years ago I registered on the jetstar website. Then I tried to book a flight for my daughter. Then when I submitted the flight, i.e. select the flight write in all my daughters details, pay for it on credit card, the Jetstar webpage over typed the booking with my personal details. Crazy! So now I had a booking in my name not my daughters. The only thing left from the original booking was the "Miss" title for my daughter. The rest of the booking was now in my name! What! I phoned Jetstar to explain. Got some call center in the Philippines or somewhere. And I asked they amend the booking. I explained about the faulty website, and they thanked me for bringing it to my attention, then charged me $40 to change the name back to my daughters name! What? Am I living in some kind of crazy parallel universe. I agreed to let them charge me as I had no choice and then wrote a complaint. Got some other person phone me back a few days later. No way in hell were they going to reimburse me the $40. They thanked me at the end of the inane conversation and asked me if there was anything else they could help me with. I bet if they had reimbursed me it would have come from their own low third world pay packet. I felt like stealing of their stupid jetstar trolleys. It must be worth $40 right? Anyway from then on I swore never to fly their crazy airline! Why am I complaining now you say? I didn't know such a webpage existed. And I just finished reading of the crazy stuff two young NZ travelers went through with cancelled flights etc in the news today then found your website. Good job. Keep up the good work!
