AIR nz can you help me.-I’ve just been conned by Jetstar. They cancelled my flight to Singapore and then told me to apply for the loss of accommodation expenses of $700 and that I should rebook new flights (rather than refund me my airfare).
They have just rung me to advise I am not eligible for a refund of accommodation as their conditions of carriage states they do not need to refund my expenses unless stated by the law (clause 8.1). Despite the fact that the can cancel flights and mislead you into thinking you will be reimbursed for the costs and then offered me a $250 voucher then said I couldn’t have them and now say I can?.
I am also trying to have a baby and this holiday was before before my last IVF treatment??
