Months ago I booked flights for my husband and myself out of Newcastle on the morning of 7th June, 2013, 9.20 am. We have family on the GC and we all needed to attend a solicitor there with regard to some family issues. We have a lunch time appointment arranged. Yesterday afternoon I received an e-mail from Jetstar advising that our flights had been changed. We are now booked on a flight leaving Newcastle at approx. 5 pm. Our plans are now in a state of disarray. I will never book with Jetstar again. I now understand why my local travel agent refuses to use them either domestically or internationally. This is not service, you book a flight and plan in advance and you should be able to rely on that. Their online survey is useless as it only asks for opinions about the people in the call centre, who are not Australian and very difficult to understand at times, not about Jetstar's flight quality and service. Never again. I would certainly not recommend them to anyone. Virgin anyday.

I hate Jetstar as much as the next person but if you want to hurt them don't buy seats with them and don't give them publicity.
