Lost Bag and Jetstar dont give a stuff

I went on a holiday to NZ for a bit of Skiing and flew Jetstar for the first time, the staff onboard were stale and sour unlike any airline Ive flown previous It was shocking they couldnt even crack a smile.
When I got to Auckland airport my bag with my ski gear did not come around the carasel, so I reported it to the staff It took 3 people to work out what the correct procedure was!!

I wasnt that worried as I assumed they would sort it out and deliver the bag to my lodge where i was staying so i filled in there Baggage iregulatory form, and then they tried to tell me that i did not require a copy of it. I had to insist that i get a copy of the form with a reference from Jetstar.
I was on Holiday for 7 days in that time i did not recieve 1 phone call not even a stinking courtesy call from Jetstar!!! I called the number i was given which was an overseas call centre 3 times and never had a call back.

I had to hire snow gear in NZ to replace the equipment i lost in my bag and went with only the 1 pair of jeans for 7 days to go to dinner/Pub..... Great.

When i got back to Sydney still without my bag i went to the Jetstar Baggage department where there was a useless bloke that handed me a piece of paper with the same overseas call centre number on it. I explained to him that i had called that number and got nowhere and asked if he could take a look himself.

I waited a further 4 days and by this stage i had enough, i rang the overseas call centre and demanded the number of a manager at Sydney airport which i had to do a bit yelling to get. She gave me a mobile number for the Sydney Airport Supervisor, I rang the number and got hold of the supervisor in the morning by this stage it had been 12 days since i originally lost my bag.

The Supervisor told me she would get back to me, no one did so I rang back that afternoon and spoke to the supervisor again where she told me they found the bag and it had been in Sydney the whole time. I asked why noone had called me in 12 bloody days and if there would there be any compensation for there stuff up where she quickly replied there is no compensation and that her call log showed people had tried to call me on ocassions (total lies) i asked her if she could prove this as i have a message bank and if they couldnt get hold of me why didnt they leave a message??? She quickly back tracked.

All i wanted was a simple courtesy call to let me know what was happening with my bag, I went my whole holiday without my gear and Jetstar obviously did not give a stuff!!!
I wont fly Jetstar ever again and I am now letting anybody I know the same thing, Im pretty easy going and it takes a bit to get me like this..... STUFF JETSTAR
