Robbed by Jetstar

I booked a cheap one way flight for my Fiancee from Perth to Brisbane, rather than pay for credit card fees I decided to direct debit, I received the reservation number and I went into my account and transfered the money into the Jetstar account, I was told by email this could take up to 3 days to confirm the booking, this I was ok with because I had booked the flight 1 month in advance. After 5 days I received no confirmation so I rang jetstar and I got the Phillopino call centre, after spending a frustrating 45mins on the phone with one of the call centre staff who could not understand the situation, that is I payed for the flight and the money has been taken by jetsar out of my account but I do not have a flight, and I don't want a refund I just want the flight confirmation and itinary, 10 more useless calls at my expense, and being treated like an idiot I lost it with the call center and there bullshit stories and useless information, I decided to try and contact them in Australia, what a joke, I have written numerous emails with no satisfaction or any response from jetstar they do not give a shit, they have basically stolen my money with no intention of giving me a refund or a flight, Jetstar have sold out Australian jobs for what I could only describe as third world labour with the equivilent training and uderstanding and they are robbing the customer blind, I don't expect a lot for a cheap flight but I do expect the flight when you pay for it, so stuff you Jetstar now it has become a matter of principle for me to go on the attack and make sure that this never happens to anyone else, how dare you call yourself an Australian company.

Go you - i feel the same way.

Go you - i feel the same way. just off the phone from the 'customer service' (read call centre robot service). Money I paid to select a seat was thrown away ('read the fine print' i was told). They will give me a $25 voucher to use with, wait for it, another jetstar flight!!!! I don't think so. i will NEVER use that airline again. And I'm a frequent flyer who travels from the Gulf to australia, and around australia, at least 6 times a year. Jetstar has lost my business all for the sake of a few dollars and 'fine print'. I will be telkling EVERYONE not to fly with them or QANTAS - and will do for ever so unless i get satuisfaction from their 'customer service'.
