time rules

Now we all know that if we don't check in before a certain time we can't fly. Yesterday i made sure i was going to be there early, so i wouldn't be rushed. As i was travelling Jetstar i wanted to have a meal before we were to take off. Now the restaurants are past the security point.

So i got there early, and i had to wait over an hour to check-in to my flight. I flew with Qantas two weeks earlier and as soon as i got to the airport I could check in. (3 hours early) Another thing is as you only have 20kg limit there are no scales at Sydney to check your checked luggage weight.

I thought the flight might be all right being a subsiduary (sp?) of Qantas. I swear my next flight will not be Jetstar. I might even go Virgin. Qantas treats me well, but not Jetstar.

I know there are other people who feel the same. But not only did i have to wait to check in. The flight was over 35 minutes late. We were late getting into Perth after they said we would make up the time in the air.
On the flight they had Ipads you could hire with movies/shows. Now i was at the front of the plane so i was able to get one but not everyone got one, as they ran out. Another things is, you need photo ID (i didn't have my license) they don't accept a passport. Thankfully i had something else that had my photo.

My last flight with Jetstar, unless it is an emergency.

Passport is an official ID

Passport is an official ID yet they don't accept passport? That's weird and would be bad for me as I don't have a License. But I'll never fly JetStar again; would have to be really the only plane in a serious emergency. I don't know how they continue to operate. Cheaper prices - sometimes - so people take the risk OR they've been lucky or not heard of problems.

The photo ID is just for the

The photo ID is just for the ipad. But i was annoyed, thankfully they didn't check that names matched, as it had a different name on it.

A passport may only be taken

A passport may only be taken off you legally by customs. Not even police can legally take it off you to hold.
