Toughen up princesses....really....TOUGHEN UP!!!!

Flying to Cairns for a work conference due to depart at 10pm. 10:30 comes and they tell us flight is cancelled because the plane is delayed half an hour and that make all the staff work overtime 30 mns (so they need to cancel 2 flights).

All the passengers line up to get on another flight. 1 hr later, you get to the front to find you are in the wrong line, so they tell you to line up "over there". After lining up another hour, you get to the front to find out you are meant to actually line up "over there". 45 minutes later, you are 'almost' at the front and they walk off. You go up to someone else to ask WTF and they say they thought they were "finished with the Cairns people...what do you want?". Then they offer you a flight to Brisbane but they dont fly from brisbane to Cairns.

Get on a flight for the next morning and were told to get there at 7am for a 9:30 flight. 7:45am and the staff arent even there yet.

If you actually NEED to be somewhere DONT FLY THEM!!!! And Jetstar...GET A CLUE. They treated passengers and looked us like we were an annoyance and problem and didnt want to deal with us. Disgusting!!

This is why I have convinced

This is why I have convinced the Management of my Company not to book with this sorry excuse for a company. We fly all over Oz at least 20 times a year. But not on Jetstar. I just sent my boss this link and he has instructed our travel people to never book with this airline.n Loss to Jetstar at least $15-20K

We just cant take the risk with their stuff ups. I bet Jetstar wont reimburse for loss of conference fees or wages either.

@yeh.right - Also be careful booking Qantas flights online. Jetstar flights are listed when you search any Qantas journey, you've got to be careful to observe the flight numbers and avoid Jetstar flights. Some people think they are booking Qantas, and they wind up with Jetstar. Personally I spend my money with Virgin these days.

The cairns ground crew are

The cairns ground crew are just as bad there was a line a mile long and 3 of the staff left at clock off time and left only 2 girls to finish the check in. By the time we were looked after the staff member Erica was rude and snappy and seemed to me more interested in talking to security than serving the people in the line. Poor job all round cairns
