What a stinking rotten service.

On the train from Katoomba to be at "Shitstar" at least one hour before departure.
No phone service in the tunnels.
Got halfway down, got a voice message from some ineligible bloody Asian which I had to listen to 4 times as I could not comprehend any of the gobbledegook ...except the end!
"Have a nice day" I reckon it stated !!!!!
With only 2 hours left to get to the airport from the train.....THEY HAD CANCELLED MY FLIGHT!!!!!!!
As I live in Tasmania, and my partner had booked the flights online, I urgently phoned her to help.
NO!!!! "Shitstar" would not talk to her as she was not the customer.
I, once again was in a tunnel and had no service on the phone.
Shitstar told her to book another flight.
So she did...with a fair dinkum real airline with real service.....VIRGIN.
My advice is is to anyone with a connecting flight to anywhere......
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS ROTTEN DODGY MOB

PS This is the 3rd time this has happened to me.
Plus everytime I flew with the stinkers I got some sort of bloody flu/cold/wog!!!!

Oh! I forgot to mention that it took 3 weeks to get our upfront payment refunded!
As you can tell from my messages, we are really pissed off.
And be assured, regardless of price, we will never use "shitstar" again.
I honestly hope that QANTAS goes broke.

I'm with you Rob. I heard on the news that Qantas have been passing Jetstar aircraft maintenance costs to Qantas to make Jetstar look better performing than it really is. With the current situation with Qantas we are still with a chance of getting this rotten mob off our air. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

Sorry guys - and exactly what is going to be achieved if your wishes of Jetstar / Qantas going broke become a reality?

1. The loss of 35,000 Australian jobs?
2. Who's going to step in and fly the 65% of every flight in Australia that Qantas / Jetstar do. Asia Air? Scoot? Iran Air?- good luck with that.

3. The return of flights costing four times as much as we pay now?

Jetstar alone carry 20 million passengers a year. This site averages 2-5 complaints a month, 50% of which are not valid - people pissed off for turning up late etc etc. The reality is there are millions of people who have no problem with Jetstar & Qantas and a few people that don't.

Qantas and Jetstar need our continued support and encouragement. I'd fly an Australian owned Airline flow by an Australian trained pilot with the best safety record in the world EVERYTIME over a foreign based Airline.

I'm sure deep down no one

I'm sure deep down no one wants these guys to fail, they just want a higher quality of service. I hate the complaints from these idiots because they were late and blame all but themselves and I used to work for these arseholes. Regardless of how much you pay for your seats you are still entitled to be treated will a level of respect and decorum and this is where Qantas/Jetstar have lost the plot.

The other thing, how can you continue to support Allan Joyce and his theatrics that have turned this premiere airline into the laughing stock of the aviation industry in a few short years? At the same time Rob Fyfe turned Air NZ into an award winning airline with big profits.
