Worst Staff I have ever dealt with on an airline

I was going down to Queenstown from new Plymouth for 3 days....Went down on Air New Zealand which was as usual up to the high standard you expect. Coming back to New Plymouth from Queenstown you have to do in two segments ....Queenstown to Christchurch and Christchurch to New Plymouth. I could not get a connecting flight with Air NZ so booked with Jetstar. One of my clients in Queenstown told me that I was risking getting back to Christchurch on Jetstar as they do not have a good reputation in actually getting into Queenstown because of there pilots lack of experience.. Anyhow we risked it.....

We come to check in at Queenstown and the checkin staff were so rude......just basically treat you like kids...........Then on the aircraft the same....little upstarts that obviously cant get a job for a normal airline so they work for this joke of an airline........Treat you so poorly. I had a jersey on my lap and was told that I wasnt allowed to do that...I had to place it in an overhead locker.....so I put it on and asked why I had to do that....she told me that it was for safety reasons.....I told her that this situation has not happened to me before and she told me that obviously other airlines dont take safety seriously......She was very rude and needed a change of atitude.
Then another passenger had a go at me for asking about the jersey and the Jetstar staff just laughed. I will never fly with Jetstar again...............................Because there pilots are probably not that experienced maybe you have to take extra safety precautions but there is no excuse for poor staff

If you actually knew anything

If you actually knew anything about airline safety you would realise that the reason for you to be asked to place your jumper in the overhead locker is because you must have been at a exit row. And if there was a reason to evacuate then that jumper would then get in the way and cause issues. Simple really!!! Wouldnt you rather be safe than sorry. Think about it

I have had the same

I have had the same situation, Totally understood where the Stewardess was coming from, definately would rather be safe then sorry :)
