Update on Bali flights on Saturday

Last Updated: 01/12/2017 08:47 PM

Today there was a sudden change in the forecast in Bali, with the Mount Agung volcanic ash cloud affecting flying conditions around Denpasar Airport this evening. As a result, some of our flights out of Bali that were planned for today were cancelled, including some relief flights.

Flying conditions are predicted to clear tomorrow morning so we plans to operate seven scheduled flights and an additional three relief flights from Bali to Australia.

We will book customers on relief flights in order of who has been disrupted longest. We will contact you directly when you have been rebooked on a flight.

Our senior pilots will make further assessment tonight and tomorrow morning based on the latest information from the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre. We will provide customers with an update if the situation changes.

We will provide our next regular update by 11am AEDT tomorrow.

CUSTOMERS IN BALI

Customers will be booked on to relief flights in order of who has been disrupted longest. We will automatically rebook you and email and SMS your new flight details. Please do not manually rebook your flights.

For customers on scheduled services, before heading to the airport please check the status of your flight from the Flight status page on Jetstar.com or via our smartphone app.

If you were on cancelled flights on Saturday 25 November, Sunday 26 November and Monday 27 November and you have not yet received and email or SMS from us about relief flights, please get in touch with us via the ‘Chat now’ button at the top of this page.
