Gave me fake information so that I will pay for my booking

I think this is the very few airlines with an actual hate page website. After trying to book an air ticket from Singapore to Auckland and to clarify certain doubts.... I realised they have the worst customer service I have ever experience.

I understand that it is a budget airline but all I was asking for was basic courtesy and truthful information. However, all I had was rude people who gave me fake information to bluff me into paying for my tickets. The following is my experience with them and I cant even describe how pissed I am and how lousy they are.....

Their customer officers were so rude and couldnt answer a simple question on whether my baggage will be flown directly to Auckland even though there is a transit at Melbourne. Had to asked the jetstar desk at the airport for an answer

While booking, there was a system error and my ticket was on hold. So I called in to check whether the payment can be waived to rectify the problem. 2 customer officers told me that they cant do anything unless I pay for my ticket first and call in later to rectify the problem. But they GUARANTEED that they have made a note in my account and the payment will be waived when I called in after I have paid for it.

They were so rude and not trustworthy so I called the 3rd customer service officer and he told me that there was a note that I called in twice but it is NOT guaranteed that the payment to rectify the problem would be waived... it will require further authorisation which may require me to send in my birth certificate etc etc...... I was so pissed off that I demanded to speak to the manager and basically the the 3rd customer officer put on me hold and hang up the phone after several minutes.

I called the 4th customer officer to lodge a complaint about the misrepresentation and it took damn long before I could speak to a manager and all I got was rude comments and everything was my fault. He also told me to make payment first and will waive off the payment to rectify the problem. When I asked for an email for confirmation as I could no longer trust them, he told me he cant do it. So obviously I am not gonna take the risk!

So he told me to take it or leave it and I can do whatever i like. Bloody rude...

If anyone take Singtel or Starhub has the worst customer service officers, try calling Jetstar and you will actually appreciate Singtel and Starhub more.

Just boycott Jetstar and pay a little more to get a better service and some reassurance if anything were to happen to your flight.
