Never fly with Crapstar

I thought I would just list a few things I hate about Jetstar. They get worse as they go on.

1. Cancelled flight
2. Did not rebook seats for us
3. 4 phone calls as reception kept dropping out trying to get seats on the next flight
5. staff member unable to call us back if we lost reception therefore having to go through the same process many times
6. Arriving to be told we couldn't load our luggage for another hour so lugged it around for that time
7. Coming home was a nightmare
bags were weighed at check in and we were told all hand luggage was ok to be taken on board
went to board and suddenl;y we are several kilos overweight
staff were rude unhelpful and applied heavy handed tactics that made one feel in a war zone with the enemy army
( I am actually not joking here ,it was a terrible experience)
So having weighed our bags at check in and being told all was well we now had to shuffle one of the bags load into our other three carry ons which were underweight. Had we known this at check in there would have been ample time and ample room in the suitcases that were loaded.
The staff member was menacing and threatening us the whole time. I cannot remember how many times he threatened us with not being able to go on the plane.
Despite our efforts and the lack of time we were still slightly overweight with that one carry on bag.
There was no choice but to pay the money a $50 fee or miss the plane . I think Jetstar does this on purpose to make up for the so called low fees
Just before I paid I told the other three to go on board to save time. The female staff member said and I quote " Don't worry I have already put you through" My family waited, I paid ,then we proceeded to walk down to the plane.
She yelled at us that we hadn't gone through the procedure yet. I ventured four words " But you just said" in a confused but not hostile manner was was threatened that if I spoke we would not be catching the plane.
So if you fly Jetstar that is what you will get. Go cheap and be humiliated and threatened. Shame on you Jetstar you need to fire or train most of your staff in PR.
Needless to say we boarded the plane very stressed ,all the relaxtion of our holiday gone. Sat down and openned their booklet in which the CEO says we want you to have a wonderful experience with Jetstar let us know what we could do better.
Sooooo I did ,went through all their channels and kept being told one bag was overweight. But where is the responsibility of the check in staff member who weighed it and allowed it as carry on and where is the apology for the way the staff treated us.
It is all about making extra money and from my experience and what I have read on here they should be made accountable for fraud. Charging people the wrong interest on cards,charging for overweight items at boarding when the check in staff knew full well if we were told there we could easily have put those items in our other bags but NO becauase they wanted the extra money.
