Why hate Jetstar

10/25/2012 my family and I (3 persons) returned from Singapore in Tel-Aviv, via Beijing, tickets for Singapore - Beijing airline Jetstar were booked in the spring, through the site: www.bt – store.com (flight JQ7. JetStar 7. Thu, Oct 25 6:35 pm).
At the airport, the reception JetStar airline companies told me that there are no tickets booked for me (in the US at this time it was night, so it made no sense to call), and I had to buy new tickets.
Later I was told that my tickets are still confirmed on the bt – store.com site.
We departed on time at 6:35 pm, and when we approached to Beijing at 1:00 am we were told that there is fog and we cannot land, so our flight was redirected to Shanghai.
In Beijing, we had booked a flight for 06:10 am (26/10/12), Aerosvit Beijing – Tel-Aviv, that we couldn't get to.
In Shanghai we landed at 2:45 am and all the passengers had to stay in the airplane for a long time. I called the airline Aerosvit, and they told that the weather in Beijing was fine and there were no flights delayed, including our transit flight. We stayed 7 hours on the plane without food and water. During this time our transit flight from Beijing took off as scheduled.
At 10 am, we were unloaded at the Shanghai airport. Since my family and I had no Chinese visas, we were not able to pass the border and we were left in the arrivals area, where we waited a few hours without information, without food or water, and no representative of the Jetstar airline. The last hours of my 9 year old daughter cried all the time seeing that her parents can not change this terrible situation.
Only after 20 hours from the start of the flight, a representative of the Israeli embassy we have:
- pass through the border of China.
- Buy new tickets at Turkish Airlines and at 10 pm, fly to Tel–Aviv.
- Arrange a meeting at 06:00 pm with a representative of JetStar. At the meeting, he told us that JetStar is not responsible for anything and they not will refund us.
