Disabled and ignored

I travelled from Melbourne to Sydney on 10/12/19. I have a severe knee problem and arranged for staff assistance. Melbourne staff were fine but on arriving in Sydney there were so many dramas! I was left unattended in a wheel chair in the gate lounge for over an hour. Passengers saw my distress and called a staff member over who addressed me in a tempered state and my stress escalated to tears. Passengers offered to bear witness to the incident. Jetstar destroyed $400 professional camera batteries - & didn't tell me

It appears that Jetstar's systems in your company have a few loopholes. I am not convinced that they really care about customers.

On December 23rd, I flew from Nelson over to Wellington via Sounds Air Ltd. (Because Jetstar no longer provides this service ot the regions in NZ.) Entering the main lounge of Wellington airport, I had 20 minutes to connect with Jetstar flight JQ256 to Auckland. This should have been sufficient time.

Previously, I had searched online for a map of the airport, to pre-determine where Jetstar's booking counter was located. There is no such map...

Rude and Impolite Staff

First instance, I was boarding my flight in ADL to OOL when a ground staff in hurry suddenly said “Move, out my way” without any courtesy. I mean, we were not the last passengers so I don’t understand why that lady had to be so disrespectful when she just wanted to get the signs out and again, there are still a few people walking to the tarmac. I don’t think such impolite behaviour should be tolerated in a service-based industry.

Second instance was when we were boarding at the BNE airport to ADL. I was at the gate 20 mins before boarding but my husband was returning the rental car...

Don’t bother being on time

This is the second time in 2 months that Jetstar waits for passengers who can’t be a***ed to be at the gate 30 minutes prior to departure, delaying the whole plane...
Of course as we wait, we lose our timeslot for takeoff. As a result Jetstar Japan is chronically 1-hour late... I will become one of those late idiots I think!

Uluru flight cancelled for hundred of travellers on New Years

Weighing carry on.

At home we weighed our carry on. At the Adelaide airport we weighed it again on check in and then at the gate lounge we were required to weigh it again. All hand luggage registered .4-.6 kilo more at the gate lounge compared with other scales. Imagine if you were close to 7 kgs the maximum allowable but you were over according to the gate lounge scale. Can't help but wonder if this is more Jetstar revenue raising.

Dishonest cheap airlines who try to rob every $$ from you

So this morning I travelled to Sydney from Melbourne with family of 12 including 4 kids. As advertised each person allowed to carry 7 kg of luggage. However at the gates, a lazy, rude and unprofessional gate keeper randomly pick 3 of us and send us back to pay extra luggage. They have another guy at the back to process the payment of extra luggage. This guy just make random decision to charge 2 of us $195 for extra luggage fee. Each of us carry 12kg of luggage which we explain that it is our kids luggage as it is impossible to get the kids to carry even 5kg of item themselves. They don't...

Lost baggage from Bangkok to Singapore

Took Jetstar Asia flight 3K516 from Bangkok to Singapore on 17th Dec 2019 only to realize that my checked in baggage didn't arrive together with the flight. Made a report at the airport and it has been 12hours and there is still no updates from JetStar Asia. It is amazing how I'm the only person in the whole flight with a lost baggage. Will never fly with Jetstar again. They are not even able to ensure the safety of their passengers' properties, I really doubt they are able to ensure the safety of their passengers. Maybe I should be glad that at least the plane didn't go missing or crash...

Can’t bring Frozen Fish

I flew from Hobart to Melbourne and bring frozen salmon I bought from local market with their signature cooler bag and ice cubes inside. The shopper has ensured me that I can bring it to Melbourne.

At the airport, the airport security has already informed us that I can bring that frozen salmon to the plane (the restriction is we can’t bring the salmon in to Hobart, but can bring out Hobart), but the Jetstar crew insisted that I can’t travel and must throw away the frozen salmon which has been packed in cooler bag.

After continually waiting and lining up in queues (the check-in was absolutely ridiculous with only 3 x counters open - took 1.5hrs to check the bags in) and continued delays, Jetstar announces 2.5hrs after the scheduled departure that flight JQ37 to Bali has been cancelled. We were then advised that we would be escorted down to immigration, have to collect our baggage and return to the Check-in Counter to re-schedule. Sydney to Gold Coast flight cancelled 10/12/2019

Jetstar JQ408 on 10/12/2019 at 11:35 am to Gold Coast from Sydney was delayed to 12:45 pm but given no notification as to why there was a delay. Waited until 12:45 pm and flight was delayed AGAIN until 1:30pm, then again to 2:25pm. At about 2pm the sign board showed "Gate Open" for the flight but no other announcements throughout this whole time nor any staff at the gate to talk to passengers regarding this flight.

Over 3 hour delay from Newcastle to Melbourne because there was "no crew available"

On Monday the 9th of December 19 the flight from Newcastle to Melbourne which was originally meant to depart at 6.25pm, ended up being delayed over and over again to finally depart at 9.45pm.

No real time updates were sent to the customer. I would have happily been dropped off at the airport later if I was notified. According to the crew member at the airport, "delay messages get sent to morning flights" - why not afternoon or evening?

Brisbane - Denpasar delayed

Flight JQ57 has been delayed today 10th December 2019 7:15am. It’s now 9am and no sign of when we will be able to fly out. Apparently it is a technical problem with check in. We have received $10 voucher each which is good but would like to see a better system to keep customers updated. We continue to wait......

JetStar cancelled a flight from Sydney to Melbourne on December 6 2019. Ok, your plane has technical problem. It's happened, even in normal companies.
Ok, you do not want to spend your money and would like to offer a flight the next day to try another time. No Wheel Chairs allowed on Certain flights according to Jetstar Manifesto

I was booked to fly Jetstar on 14th Nov 2019 but I had an accident and injured my foot. Tried to add a wheelchair for my flight and was told all wheelchairs had been hired. I offered to use my own wheel chair but Jetstar Live Chat staff told me if wheel chairs are not available on that flight then there can be no other wheel chairs allowed under the company's so called MANIFESTO .

Change of name

Was charged $402 for a name change after they passed away. I booked early August & told them 3 weeks late. The original fare was $121 but on the day was $148. I didn’t change times or dates just a name. There saying $170 cost to change it. How can they jusify this as its a huge amount to pay extrt. jetstar hotels vouchers not issued

According to "https://www.jetstar.com/au/en/hotels-voucher-terms-and-conditions", I was expecting jetstar hotels vouchers for each of my itinerary. But, I did not receive any voucher. When I contacted customer care jetstar booking team asking me to contact jetstar holidays and they asking me contact jetstar hotels, and jetstar hotels team asking me to contact booking team, so they are in effect making me go around while avoid giving me my vouchers!!

Jetstar strikes again. Another Sunday evening flight cancelled which is getting to be quite a habit Jetstar. You’re getting quite the reputation for your very poor service.

At least five times now my family have had flights cancelled at short notice and no options offered as a solution.

Another cancelled flight

Terrible handling of cancellation was cancelled 31/10/2019 received email at 2:30 the morning of the flight 1/11/2019 rang to find out what we could do and had to actually tell the Indian call centre staff what needed to be done. Have lodged a complaint with Jetstar and did not receive any compensation (extra day car hire , extra baby sitting cost for my children and numerous other out of pocket expenses.
