3 days of going around in circles.

I arrived in Perth from Singapore on the 18th jan - minus bags. Due to fuel issues. I was told that my bags would arrive next day and sent to me in Geraldton where I live. 3 days later and a huge phone bill no sign of baggage or any help. I have been sent around in circles with different numbers, I am continually passed onto the next person. I am actually yet to speak to the actual lost lugguage complaints people snd keep getting the very generous offer of leaving my name and number and they will get back to me. I suspect this is how they deal with the issue by taking numbers and then filing them in the bin. Gutted as it had all my souvenirs from travelling asia for the last 5 weeks. Had no idea of the reputation of jetstar and can't believe I didn't bother to check first.. Safe to say I will never fly Jetstar again.

No way. I knew a guy who worked for jetstar, after he quit he told me about how some of the staff steal valuable items from the overhead and sometimes luggage. no joke.
they will make u think the airport has it just so its out of their hands. they steal to make up for the low wages they get paid. my advice, call the coppers.

Remmy what are you smoking? Firstly, Jetstar employees are the second highest paid employees out of the 4 leading airlines. Secondly, have you been to an airport? There is security everywhere their not going to steal things because not only is it incredibly unproffesional they would be running the risk of security and losing their job.

My baggage are also missing

My baggage are also missing on the 20th jan, my flight from Jakarta to Bangkok via Singapore, until this moment I have not returned the baggage. if the airline is responsible for my baggage. means they have to return my goods in quick time. but already 3 days they did not give an answer, and the bangkok airport each time I call always gives me answer that they were waiting for the Jetstar!

Dont expect Jetsatr to got to much trouble to get your bags to you. Expect them to be less helpfull when an other airline si also involced. If you move on to another port that they dont service your odds are buckleys. I went without luggage once for four days even though in the 3 days in between Qantas flew the same route they would not put it on Qantas because of and inter company charge of $30. I had to wait till the 4th day when the next Jetstar flight came.

Hi Remmy, I tend to agree with you. I believe that staff are likely to take goods found in the plane if they want it simply because they can. I left some goods on a Jetstar flight recently and was told that nothing was found onboard.

It could have been a fellow passenger, but I think that is unlikely. They should steal clothes because the Jetstar uniform is pretty ugly.
