Bad customer service

After our flight being delayed in Brisbane for an hour and a half due to mechanical issues we arrived in Sydney missing our connecting flight. We were advised by the cabin crew during them flight that we would be met by a jetstar representative on arrival in an attempt to make our connecting flight. However once in the terminal after enquiring about the representative we were told by jetstar it was "wishful thinking" to be provided with a representative and refused to further provide assistance of any kind. We then had to sit around for 7 hours for the next connecting flight.
This being my first flight with jetstar , after having used many airlines around the world, will also be my last with jetstar. I've never seen such blatant rudeness from staff.

Amazing. Jetstar seem to hire

Amazing. Jetstar seem to hire the biggest arsholes, failures and drop-kicks in the airline industry. Ever notice how there are no (blatantly) rude staff on other airlines?
You get what you pay for, including the quality and intelligence of the staff.

Holograms would be more attractive and a damn side more intelligent than the current staff. A monkey holding a CD player with recordings of jetstar announcements would also suffice.

if only it was only bad customer services! they got bad customer evrything! they sayd its wishfull thinkin, yeah id haave that. its also wishful thinking to think that jetstar staff will be nice 2 u and not give u shit! so in the end there is no wishfull thinking!

I work for an UK based

I work for an UK based airline, interesting stories on here, had to comment. The plane had a mechcanical fault, would you rather that they waited to fix it or take off and find out in the air that it becomes a bigger issue. Its a shame that the crew was not a bit more honest, but that is the oldest trick in the book, Oh yes our ground staff will be able to assist you...anything to get you off the aircraft....

Working as crew is a tough job, try doing their role and see how long you can keep smiling. Jetstar is low cost, so it attracts a certain customer...educate yourself and learn how to use this airline to your advantage....

Yes, my complaint with Jetstar is the customer relationship unit do not provide a phone number for you to discuss your complaint when you make a complaint. If you have several complaints on the go you do not know what complaint they are taking about.

Before my Feb trip, I last flew out in 1990 so things have changed immensely. However this is not an excuse for them to have lack of service by them.

They simply say in the letter there is not enough info in my complaint and ask you to post or fax further details, not email as we are used to in the 20th [sic] century, haha.

I am not a vexatious complainant but simply new at traveling. I will fly Singapore, Thai and Garuda from now on as Qantas (airline I choose in 1990) stopped flying all planes during a dispute, stranding Australians overseas and domestically. Very UN-Australasian.

Hello just tried to fly back

Hello just tried to fly back from narita Tokyo to cairns business class with jetstar when we got to check in people everywhere waiting in line no staff to serve us they tell you be there three hours before flight ha so while in line lady behind gets a text flight cancelled only person to get a text Other flight going out that was a Gold Coast which was cancelled everybody was livid no notification . Some people had their flight cancelled on the Saturday night as well . Staff were rude when trying to find out what was happening then sign comes out flight cancelled due to maintenance in cairns . They don't do maintenance in cairns then due to the volcano bull as well all other flight were flying we were going south not north sometimes I think jetstar think people are stupid . Well after much deliberation they decided to send us to Osaka the next day they refused to pay for meals and hotels . Their where a lot of angry people that night as there where to flight cancelled at same time a lot school kids trying to get home. We where lucky we found a hotel which we had to pay for but other May not have been so lucky what about those who may have been on a budget jetstar don't care. Finally went to Osaka next day plane arrived late then broke down happy to wait for them to fix it before leaving didn't want it braking down while flying on arriving at cairns talking with other people they told us if jetstar don't have full flight they don't fly interesting Home now tried to phone jetstar customer care what a waste of time not interested so put a complaint it will see what will happen but will not fly jetstar again
