when you go to make the date changes, which you pay the money for that privilege, it puts you on another heightened fare schedule, and does not offer the same lower fare as a 'normal' customer. Therefore you have to pay the difference. I am not asking for a refund on fare difference, but why should I pay more if same flight offered is same or cheaper!

It is all about greed, as a matter of fact "pure greed". They may be a budget airline, but there is no reason to guage customers. I think its because of customers that this greedy organisation exisits. Surely it does not cost that much to change a name on an airline booking, and surely, there is no real requirement to issue another fare at a higher price for a seat that you have already paid for. Oh, I forgot, its called greed. The unfotunate thing about all this, is that the ACCC are doing absolutely nothing about this rorting. Consumer watchdogs my ass, more like protectors of large corporations. All of Jetstars so called terms and conditions have microscopic conditions which you only find aut about after you try to exercise your rights under their so called condition. Jetstar are a disgrace, however, all the airlines are painted with the same brush
