Call centre hell

I had originally booked tickets for my family a couple of months ago for the holidays. While I was booking them, the online booking system wouldnt progress through the final payment step, so I had to ring a telephone consultant to see if I had indeed been charged, and since i hadnt, they completed the transaction over the telephone for me. In the meantime, my husband decided to leave me and so didnt want to fly, so I tried to change his ticket. This meant pinging around in the Malaysian call centre, where every consultant I spoke to ended up hanging up on me when I outlined that I wanted to change a name and a date (I wasnt being rude). Apparantly their brains shut down everytime I outlined the fact that I wanted to change the ticket to a date not supported by their computer system, but nor would they issue me with a credit with the airline. It took 5 repeated calls! In the end I gave up. However! During all this, I realised that when I had intially booked the tickets, the telephone consultant who had helped me when their online system kept crashing had issued me with 4 tickets with no baggage allowance, so I wound up having to shell out extra for their error, and deal with an unbelievable level of rudeness and refusal to escalate a call to a team leader. Never agail will I fly Jetstar if I can possibly help it!

Error? You think this was an

Error? You think this was an error?
The computer didnt crash and the team leader would have been even ruder than the dropkick you spoke to first.

i wonder if your ex hubby saw

i wonder if your ex hubby saw what was coming and decided to leave knowing that would be the only way out of hell with jetstar.

Paua, i feel your pain if you

Paua, i feel your pain if you had to get calls hung up on you, but you do have to understand the fact that the agents have a policy when it comes to name change and that is a change fee as well as fare differences...if you agree to those terms..then they would go ahead and do the necessary, saying that, when you initialy had your ticket in your email, did you notice that you had booked without luggage.....hmmm...no team Leader to take your call then yea that was wrong as well...but hey dont fly jetstar...(but saying that your probably on a flight with Jetstar now) lat comment was for Travis...
