DO NOT FLY YOUR CHILDREN WITH JETSTAR

I booked my nephew to fly Brisbane to Melbourne, which I called an booked directly with the airline. It was more expensive however, I was happy to pay the extra for him to be escorted from door to door, as this is his first time flying alone.

At checkin today, we were advised he had been booked on an international flight, even though the itinerary said BNE to MEL on JQ58 at terminal T2. He was rebooked (at no additional cost) on a later flight JQ536 pick up at terminal T4, but did not send an updated text or email considering I'd been receiving numerous emails and texts to ensure we were on time. Fine, I can let that slide.

Then he's an hour and a half late which we then started getting concerned. I call the airline to find out how the mistake was made and how we're going to find my nephew, to no avail all they say is we'll log a complaint, Great! But that doesn't help me find my nephew, they advise that is all they can do, no advice on what to do, no contact number that I can call and the lines at the counter are so long, I had to decide whether I was going to wait at the arrivals or wait At the counter and risk missing my nephew exit the arrivals.

Not good enough when it comes to a child, a child is number 1 priority!!

How the hell is logging a complaint going to assist in finding a lost child?

Hire staff that can speak English and staff that have better customer service, I guarantee the recoreded Call will show the rude cow continued to speak over me and reply yes, yes, yes!

Not good enough, useless airline!!!

My daughter and husdand flew to Queensland today with there two young children ages 4 and 7 there first time to fly tickets were booked and as you would think the ages of my two grand children they should have been with parents but no they were sitting with complete stranger I am absolutely horrified with this this should never happen to any young child .jet star you just take booking make sure your planes are full and dnt give a rats arse about your pasengers absolutely disgusting shame on you I will make sure they or anyone I know never fly with you again they are better off paying extra and flying Quantus air line .... A grand mother absolutely disgusted...
