Don't board jetstar unless you have no choice!

From what I know, jetstar really suck.

1. It delayed our flight for 3hrs due to maintainance problem and the staff didn't even announced it properly to the passengers whom on board were mostly hongkongers ( flight to hk ) and others.

2. Jetstar service counter refused to explain to the passengers why this delaying happen and went into hiding deliberately! The service counter was literally empty after quite a number of passengers proceeded to ask enquiries about the flight after the plane had made a turn and landed back in sg.

3. They only have us measly foodcourt vouchers of 1 serving of food and 1 serving of drink only per customers. The past plane who delayed my time gave us food+shopping vouchers ad we even sat in business class.

4. Lastly and most importantly, the jetstar airlines didn't even announced the timing brought forward to board the plane to the passengers! Passengers have to go around passing the message to know the exact earlier than expected boarding time? Is jetstar really responsible? Jetstar absolutely don't have a sense of customer service quality nor responsibility at all. Period.

Flying Wellington to Auckland

Flying Wellington to Auckland I had a 21 hour delay.
The flight was booked at 10:00pm - and kept being pushed back. No announcements from the staff.
They finally cancelled the flight at quarter past midnight, but didn't tell us.
We had to go outside and read the cancelation on the board at checkin. Only when they were requested to make an announcement - did someone actually come and talk to us.
We were a completely booked out flight, so the line is huge and there is only one person behind the desk trying to sort out rebooking and accommodation.
It's now 1am and I'm lucky because my friend has got herself out of bed and has come to pick me up. Many others were going to spend the wee hours of the morning waiting for Jet Star to find them somewhere to stay.
I've missed my midday gig - the main reason I'm flying to Auckland on a Friday night!
The next day Jet Star automatically books me on a 12:30pm flight - but doesn't tell me.
I call them at 9am and they tell me the earliest flight I can get is a 3:50pm flight.
I then get a text that says my 2:30pm flight has been delayed until 3:50pm.
I called them up to ask what the hell was going - which was when I found out about the 12:30 automatic booking!
It gets worse!
I then get a text telling me my flights delayed until 4:30pm.
And then another saying my flight is delayed until 6pm. It's the running gag of the day!
When I finally get to the airport, I'm told, very sorry but your plane is running with a 20min delay.
I was waiting in the lounge with several of the veterans from the last nights episode. We all groaned inwardly when we saw the flight had now been delayed by 40mins.
1 hour later and we were starting to wonder if we would ever get to Auckland!
At 7:15 they finally start to board us, however once they've got us on board and have closed the doors, they tell us we have to sit tight and wait while they refuel!
It was just a final sprinkle of salt to the wounds!
I almost missed the evening event I had tickets for - Jet Star really messed with my plans and the gig I was booked to play at.
I've never had such horrendous service in my life!
I would avoid flying with them at all costs!
