Fiji & Cyclone Winston - lack of action to get people home ('piss-poor' service / no social conscience)

Why is there NOTHING on the Jetstar facebook site about flights out of Fiji? Does Jetstar even know there was a cyclone?? (Just in case it's not clear, reports say it was the most powerful ever recorded in the Pacific!)

More importantly, what is Jetstar doing about catching up on the departures that were cancelled? As best I can see, Jetstar has lost a day more that air NZ, Virgin & Fiji airline and then, in response, they ONLY put on ONE extra flight!! (One wonders whether the reported travel of Aus military people to Fiji this evening will be via the one extra Jetstar flight; if it is, then it show that Jetstar are only doing anything extra because they have the Aus military paying for seats there!!)

Why not more additional flights? My friends were scheduled to fly out to Sydney on Sunday, but have now been told their rescheduled flights are not until late Friday!! (How is it that flights were cancelled for 3 days BUT it will be 5 EXTRA days before they get a flight?)

Come on Jetstar, the Fijians don't need extra people 'on their hands' whilst they are struggling to provide basic service and food to their own. I imagine Jetstar does quite well from tourists travelling to / from Fiji, so show some compassion and leadership and get your act together!!
