Flight change fiasco!

Love the way that Jetstar continually change my flight Times with these emails 'Since you made your booking, we have changed our flight schedule. Please be advised that your flight details have changed. We understand it can be frustrating when plans change, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. While we try to avoid any changes to our timetable, in this instance it was unavoidable. Please review your flight details below.' Yada Yada Yada..

So I accept these 'frustrating' flight changes without any complaint and yet when I would like to make a change of my own to a booking that they have already changed, I must pay the flight change fine.

If these people actually believed there own crap about 'We understand it can be frustrating when plans change' nonsense then they might understand that my plans change as well!

I am a regular Jetstar flier and have put up with there lack of (love this one) 'CUSTOMER CARE' for long enough. Will be flying Virgin in the future.

Be aware. When they change

Be aware. When they change their flt times, even by a few minutes and send out that email, any preferred seat you have booked and paid for is cancelled. Gone. No more in the system. No advice. No refund. When you discover this before you fly, it takes the usual 45 mins or so to get onto them to find out all the better seats are no longer available. They tell you it's a problem with the system and it's being looked at. Six months later still being looked at. Like so much of how this airline treats the people who fund their shareholders and management, we are treated with gross disdain and left to deal with a call centre in the Philippines where comprehensible English from the staff there is a luxury, not the norm. Can't understand why people fly them. I gave up long ago.
