Flight Status

Guys, when checking online for flight status, make sure it says confirmed on the left. For my Auckland-GC flight it said confirmed, for my GC-Tokyo flight, it was blank. Lucky i called because both my initial and return flights were cancelled without any warning - and this was 2 days before the date of travel - no email, phone call, message, nothing. I am convinced they leave it blank in an attempt to confuse people so you dont realise till you get to the airport.

Also, spoke to a very helpful girl (unlike the people who hung up on me over the last few weeks) and she said because it is cancelled, they can give me a cash refund. I said i would call back because i needed to see if i could rearrange to go to Osaka. Called back because Osaka was out of the question and they were only offering me a voucher. I yelled and yelled and now they are offering me cash refund although i asked for a confirmation email as proof but no - they dont do that.

I know it is tempting to save a hundred or so dollars flying with Jetstar but it is really not worth it.
