Forced to pay Insurance

I was also forced to pay for insurance and told the customer service representative that I was not happy to do this. He just said well you should have not proceeded with the booking, but called customer service to proceed with it instead!..I stated that their website does not say that this is their policy if you do not want the travel insurance. I said that I would like to speak with a manager because I was not happy with this particular customer service representative's response. Eventually, after waiting on for the manager, a guy by the name of Daniel came on and told me to call the Insurance Co and he gave me the number. I rang and asked for the policy to be cancelled as I was unable to cancel the Insurance when I was doing the booking. He informed us that it would be cancelled and the charge taken off our credit card. So far it hasn't been...but hey the year isn't up yet!!! I wouldn't recommend Jetstar to anyone...and this will be the last trip that I will take with them.

Well i have bookedfrom the website b4 , there is a box u need to uncheck to say u do no wish insurance, i would say this is ur own fault for not reading.
