4 hours before flight to singapore TODAY my daughther who flying to SPR with n 2 month old baby to meet her grandmother who flew into SPR from Holland.
Any normal airline would find a rerouting via another australian airport - jetstar "offers" refund or if u wish u may go the next day.
this is a mickey mouse airline buying a ticket is a contract obviously with no obligation by Jetstar.
u try to change a flight n u pay for it
getting a refund at this point is a joke it will cost as there is way to get a decent price.
i spoke to the "customer service" of JS - they had an "exceptional" counter proposal my daughter would fly tonight at 1730 hrs n arrive (with her baby) 2100 hrs the following day.saturday 26hr flight.
the offer was supposed to bring her into darwin at 1930hrs n than wait until a 1820 flight to spr tomorrow
ie same flight as they are proposing to take tomorrow.
there is co share jetstar/qf to brisbane with a conection to spr - so it looks like on purpose u are advised too late so they do not have offer this option.
this airline is becoming more n more a scam .......
now they hang up on me ...........
any idea where i can file a complaints to australian aviation authority

update the "customer service" advised flight was cancelled because if the CNS BAD weather.
i said must have been the sunshine in CNS !!!!!
i was asked to send a report to their customer service I told them no use last time i sent the complaints
they were deleted no one but several "UNREAD" i still have copies of the3 deletion.
what a messed up company ...... how embarrassing
