Hayley, a tall alien faced blonde had the nerve to have attitude with me when i had just flown from London to Brisbane and was looking to fly out to Hamilton Island. YOU ARE AN EARLY AGED 40, AIR HOSTESS, And it was so hard to help me put my bag in the overhead lockers?? I want to take this complaint furthur. I was mortified at the way i was spoken to. Not to mention i am prganant and all i wanted was some help with my bag. She then had the nerve to go and gossip about the situation to her colleagues, Little does Hayley know i do high profile promotion work for airlines, my next meeting with Jetstar CEO, her name will be mentioned and no justice will be made. Its beyond me how someone can think they are so good when all they do is ask if you would like tea or coffee 100 times. Very annoyed and will be taking this furthur.

No, it's their job to HELP put luggage in the overhead lockers. If I put everyone's bags up for them I'd be on ACC in a month.
Most people are sensible and stick to the baggage allowance, and I have no issue what so ever helping people especially those like OP who are pregnant, older, can't actually reach or just need a hand. But some people really take the piss, I had one bag re weighed because I was told " you can lift it it's too heavy for me" and it weighed nearly 15kg.
KayB I'm sorry this was your experience. Before everyone jumps down my throat I don't work at the call centre or in management so can't do anything about your complaints. Every single issue that comes up during my day at work gets noted and filed in my daily report. I then sit and wait for a response just like you guys.
I would be mortified if I ever heard one of my crew speak to a passenger the way OP was spoken too. We aren't all ( even though it seems like it ) ogres. I love being in customer service, and I enjoy my days at work.
For all those who have been using the it's a low cost carrier you get what you pay for argument simply not true. The same level of customer care and service should be provided no matter how much someone pays for their seat.

the 'air hostess's job is not to carry your bags. their job is to get you out of the plane if it crashes. they are actually trained NOT to touch anyones bags because if they hurt their back the company does not cover them! you obviously know you're pregnant so why don't you take a lighter/smaller bag or travel with someone who can lift it for you? jetstar is a crap airline but dont just whinge because you're lazy! peace!
