JETSTAR ARE CON ARTISTS RIPPING US OFF WEEKLY!! Sydney-Gold Coast International Departure

I'm bloody furious cos this happened to me today!! Sydney to Gold Coast. I arrived at domestic check in after I even checked their website over nite to confirm the time and only ONE flight was listed, that departing domestic. Got told at the desk "no you're not on this flight" and I said IMPOSSIBLE!! Was directed to the NO Help Desk where I was told "you are booked on the international flight, but you have to check in an hour before so you've missed it, I can transfer you over to the domestic flight for $100"!!!!!! I said "I didn't receive a confirmation email stating this, I didn't get a web check in reminder, I was not told in ANY WAY that this was an international flight". I then burst into tears, showed the staff the NON EXISTENT email they claimed to have sent which surprise surprise was NOT in my inbox OR trash folder and showed my purse with only $10 to my name. I was told "that's not our problem, you will need to borrow the money from a friend"!!!!!!! This is at 6am!!!!!! Thank god my partner could move some money around and I was able to pay the $100 and transfer to the domestic flight conveniently leaving at EXACTLY the same time as the international. This happened to 8 OTHER PEOPLE THIS MORNING!!! This is a SCAM and Jetstar is RIPPING PEOPLE OFF WEEKLY!! They cleared an extra $1,000 just by doing this and not acknowledging that the fault IS THEIRS!!! I will exhaust every avenue until I am refunded that money. I will be going to every ombudsman, newspaper and media show so people are made aware of this scam they are pulling. This is a multimillion dollar corporation, they can NOT keep making us, the clients, pay for their inaccuracies.

I got my money refunded, as I had their pre-departure email saying it was only 30mins cut off.
Never fly them again. Tell all your friends. I happily pay more for my flights with other airlines knowing I'll get there and won't be ripped off.
