JETSTAR SUCKS

The one time I flew with Jetstar will be my last. I booked a Auckland to Christchurch with Air New Zealand and a return with Jetstar. it was for a day trip, more to just try jetstar. I am a gold elite Air New Zealand Airpoints member, so this was my first ever domestic flight out of AirNZ. My Air NZ flight went fine, but when I got to Christchurch, I found my jetstar flight delayed. They kept delaying it until they finally cancelled it, 6hrs after the departure. The Jetstar staff had decided to call it a night, and there was no one at the Customer service counters. After two hours of trying, I finally got someone on the phone who told me rather rudely that they couldn't rebook me until 4 days away. I then asked for a refund, only to be told it would take 21 working days for it to deposited into my account. I rushed onto the web and purchased a last minute Air NZ flight back to Auckland. Thank goodness for Airpoints!!! JETSTAR IS THE WORST AIRLINE IN THE WORLD!!! (probably)

I booked to fly Syd-Honululu,

I booked to fly Syd-Honululu, on 20/3 showed up at the airport and my flight was cancelled, my options were fly the next day, ie. 24hrs delay or get a refund and go try and buy another ticket yourself.

30/3 return flight, cancelled again!!! yes thats right. This is I checked the flight before i went to the airport, my options were again fly the next day, or take a flight to brisbane and then connect to sydney. since i really need to get back to work I opt to fly to brisbane.

When I got there there was 3 other flights going to sydney before my schedule one, 2 QF and 1 Jetstar, they didn't let me take an earlier one.

the connecting flight ended up being delay as well, that it became a curfew flight, ie. if it doesn't get to syd by 11pm, then it has to return to bris. it was fully bucketing down outside, no aero bridge was connected, we were told to board ASAP so we can get to brisbane in time, we rushed out all wet, boarded the plane dripping, some seat assignments were duplicated so it got very messy. Everyone was stuck in the middle with ppl from the back trying to get to the front and vice versa.

we went along the runway, paused for about 10-15mins then, the pilot decided we were not going to make it to sydney in time, so the plane did not take off!!!!!!!! now we were all stranded at the airport.

as you can imagine there is now a sea of ppl trying to sort out accomodation for the night and changing their flights, could not connect on the phone to them either just on call waiting forever. was still trying at 1am and could not get through. Eventually I got a hold of them at 5am, there they told me they cannot hold my seat unless I am at the airport physically because it is not a direct ticket it is a transfer connecting ticket.

I made it to the airport for the flight, that flight was also delayed. talk about being screwed around. Never flying Jetstar again. The cheaper fare is definitely NOT worth the lost of time, stress, hassle!
