Jetstar - Your airline is the pitts!!!!!

Jetstar really need to take a long hard look at themselves. They have no idea what customer service is. I am from ChCh and had some flights booked for in late Feb (booked prior to EQ) in which we were unable to travel due to circumstances beyond our control. I phoned up a couple of times as I was not satisfied with the options I was getting. I finally got hold of a customer service rep who said they would give me a full refund and that it would be credited to my credit card. I emailed yesterday to enquire how long it takes to get the refund and I have just heard back saying that I won't be getting a refund and that there are no notes about this. He was basically telling me I was a liar. I am now stuck with vouchers that I will never use as we are not in a position to travel at the moment, and the worst part of all is that the vouchers are to travel with Jetstar. Never again. I am going to stick to Air NZ as they have just shown their true colours during this awful time. I take my hat off to them and wish that Jetstar were not introduced to NZ if they were not going to look after us.

How did you email them? There is no email address to send booking enquiries to...
If someone told you that you'd get a refund then I would fight them for it. Ask for a supervisor, ask them to consult a call recording to verify what you were offered. I was under the impression they were offering full refunds for flights in or out of Christchurch in late February.

I have three return trips

I have three return trips Christchurch booked in Oct last year. The original department date was the 1st Apr 2011. I rang on the 1st March 2011 to cancel the flights and was told that the flights had been cancelled and a full refund would be paid back to my CC. Still waiting for the cancellation notice. I have just received an e-mail advising that, as I was about to fly with Jetstar, I need to read the important information. Waiting on the phone to address..... Agree .... Jetstar are bloody awful......

Hi Ben hearing everyone's stories is just unbelievable. How are they still in operation? You can fill out the feedback form at the website below and they will phone you back. It doesn't help though as they are still just so unhelpful and heartless. Good luck.

that form is not available on their site, and whats more their contact us page says contact a customer services representative in writing but provides no address (email or snail) to send it to in NZ!!!

They must have received so many complaints via this form that they have taken it off their website, and now nobody can contact them via email. Who these days writes a letter and posts it - just another bad service Jetstar. Was on hold last night for 58 mins as my father flew home from Aussie last night (was the cheapest unfortunately) as the website had not been updated with the departures and arrivals. It was still showing that he hadn't departed. I then went onto the Qantas website and got the proper update from there. I ended up hanging up - what if it was an emergency and I was on hold for that amount of time. Just not improving are you?????????
