Lack of maintenance

Good Morning,

We were advised 29th May 2016 that flight JQ352 would be departing 10.05am as agreed with booking. We were then notified at 8.22am 31st May 2016 that out flight would now be arriving 11.30am

This delay was due to an internal issue with no capable engineers being located in the vicinity of Palmerston North. It is not acceptable that the customers of Jetstar should be punished for the lack of maintenance to their fleet.

We are sure you are well aware of the Consumer Guarantees act and the provisioins within. I conclude that lack of care and maintenance is within your control and you are liable to pay damages caused.

An update has just been relayed to passengers and we will not see flight now until 12.30pm. A matter of recourse is due from Jetstar to all customers effected by your poor performance.

We look forward to your response and please advise how you wish to proceed.

The recent flight cancelled

The recent flight cancelled was happened this morning on 3/6/2016. It was seems to be a last minute cancelation due to weather and I have been only notified 3hrs before my flight flying from melbourne to Sydney. My booking number is OYS44P and the flight number is JQ510 at 10.40. Been trying to contacting them over the phone and waiting on the line for over an hour and nobody picks it up. Make another call to reach them for another 30min and still no result. What a great customer service. When I am able to reach them over the phone they told me there is none more available flights for today while I do have an important business meeting in the afternoon at Sydney. I lived over an hour in Melbourne to reach through the airport. I am fully understand that refund is not the option. However I do asking some kind of reimburse over a voucher for the next flight with Jetstar. Without it I would never ever fly with Jetstar none recommended to my friends and colleagues about this airlines. Such a bad service..
