Last minute flight cancellations

For the fourth time this year a member of my family has had their flight cancelled for "operational reasons" at short notice. The latest fiasco was a 6.55 am flight from Sydney to Adelaide. Cancelled because it was not full enough for them to bother. On the phone told me the next available was 3.00 pm flight. The passenger suffers from MS and had an appointment at noon. They just kept me on hold for an hour and did nothing. It took forty five minutes before I could speak to her supervisor who also did not care but offered me a ten am flight the following day!!!! Useless. He was neither sympathetic or apologetic.
I stopped wasting time with both of them and managed to book a one thirty pm flight with jetstar online through! Right hand obviously does not know what the left hand is doing. Had to take it because I had no further option and have managed to move the appointment.
Will never fly jetstar again despite the cost of other airlines. So hurt and feel even more unwell and discarded.
What a lovely way to treat disabled people jetstar!

That is terrible. Similar thing happened to me flying from NZ to Melbourne. I only discovered the change to my flight when I checked in to my out bound journey. Change my route from direct one flight to indirect, so AI had to arrive at the airport 5.hours earlier and arrived home an hour later.
Clearly Jet star doesn't value repeat business. I won't fly Jet star again or pay for my family or kids to fly Jetstar either.

I think it's amazing that people are still flying Jetstar. I haven't flown with them for years because of their incompetence, their customer service (or lack thereof), their constant excuses for cancelling flights like "operational reasons", yet the service hasn't improved and people still fly with them and complain. It's a no brainer. If you fly with Jetstar, you will be f****d around, lied to, ripped off, have your flight cancelled or postponed and no-one at Jetstar with give a s**t. You know why? Because they just don't care. There's a good reason they were voted the worst airline in the world for customer service earlier this year, yet people still fly with them. Unbelievable!
