Lost Baggage

We recently flew on a Jetstar flight to Fiji for a 5 day holiday. When we arrived at Nadi airport we were told that they do not know where our luggage was. After 2 days without our clothes, the airport delivered our baggage and Jetstar did not offer any explanation or apology. I'm currently making a claim for the clothes that I had to buy during the first half of our holiday and will update you with the outcome. So far they have been terrible but I still haven't written them off completely. Update coming soon.

You have not yet written them

You have not yet written them off yet but be assured you will. you will get naught from them. Best thing you can do is forget them and encourage all your friends, colleges and associates also to ignore them/

UPDATE: After several emails

UPDATE:
After several emails going back and forth, Jetstar have informed that they will only compensate me for a total of $40 per passenger which they believe is fair. The emails were from a moron named Charles Xavier (International.claims@jetstar.com).

Each time I would email, it would take him a week to reply and then he would try to sound so sincere but I saw the same exact wording in another person's email. They have some kind of template they use which has probabaly been written by some guy that brought in to make their dead beat staff sound like they have souls, otherwise the email would sound like it was from a zombie. I've refused the "generous offer" and explained that it was impossible to buy swimming shorts/bikini, sunscreen, toothbrushes, underwear for $40. I've offered to return the things I bought to them as long as they compensate me for them.

They haven't replied. Keep in mind that this has been an ongoing issue since January 2011. I will be lodging a complaint with the CTTT this week. Another update coming soon.
