LOST BAGGAGE

Flew in from Bali Depansar via Singapore on the flight JQ116 on 19/09/12. Transitted in Singapore for approx. 2 hours before boarding my flight home to NZ, Auckland (flight JQ216). Arrived in Auckland on 20/09/12. Went to pick up my x1 baggage item, and to my dismay it was not there. Went to file a claim with the baggage claims desk - promptly got handed a few sheets that I will be contacted within a few hours on where it is. Three hours later, no response, so I contact them. Very trying as I can't seem to get through. 8 hours later, after ringing on the hour, I seem to get through, but am getting minimal responses. Was told it came on the plane with me from Bali, but seemed to have got misplaced in Singapore. It is day 2 and I am still trying to ring the contact numbers provided on their website online. What a disappointing and stressful task to try and chase up my x1 piece of luggage item. Each time you ring through, you are given very vague and confusing responses. Yes, I do realise it was great paying for a cheap ticket, but customers shouldn't be getting a hard time trying to chase up their own luggage. What a nightmare!!!!!!
