MisterJinxx - a perfect example of how corrupt Jetstar is

MisterJinxx's story is one worth reading. Don't think because you pre-book seats that they are guaranteed. Jetstar are notorious for canceling flights and (if you're lucky) shoving you on another. Indeed if you pay for seats up the front, they can bump you off and they simply don't care if you've pre-booked and paid for them. If say you booked a trip to Cairns for five nights, they can cancel your flight back and leave you waiting for a next available flight back so you could be on an extended holiday like it or not. This happened to my sister. She had to stay in Cairns for two extra nights because they cancelled her flight. When she asked who would pay for the extra two nights accommodation, they simply said that is your problem. They are, thanks to the lilly livered laws in this country, a law unto themselves. Buying a Jetstar ticket is like entering a lottery.

I would sincerely hope that MistaJinxx is raising hell with the Jetstar customer service team. Booking so far in advance and still being let down like that is disgusting.

They simply don't care. The only way to beat them at their own game is to not fly with them. The only time this shambles of an airline will understand along with their arrogant and complacent CEO is to hit them where it hurts....in the pocket. Surely by reading the horrendous stories on this site will make people think twice about flying this apology for an airline. Jetstar, I hope you collapse and go broke. You're an international disgrace.
