My flight being cancelled twice is my own fault?

Not flying Jetstar very often, they had a great sale a few months ago and decided to go ahead and book the tickets. What a mistake that turned out to be. My flight to Melb got cancelled on the day I had to fly, and had to re-book. Luckely they didn't charge for a later flight, but it was an inconvenient time for me as it put me where I needed to be 8 hours later. A week later on my return flight, same thing happened.
Flight cancelled again! o_o . This time I had my wife travel with me (already on my original booking) so I use their booking system to change to a later flight again. Somehow their system mucked up the seats when I changed the seating nrs so we could sit together, and it took my wife's seat off of her booking and put it onto mine.

So now I have 2 seats under my name but my wife has none. What also worried me is I was all of a
sudden happily charged $277 for a seat I did not book. When I wanted to use the online check-in it was unavailable. So now I have no choice to sort out all this mess at the airport. We arrive at Tullamarine for our new flight, and I went to one of the check-in desks to see what the seating arrangement was all about, and the extra 277. Domestic couldn't do anything for me because my flight had now been moved to the international terminal and I have to sort out "my mess" there. So we trod over to the international terminal, put down the bags. Got charged $60 for extra baggage because one of the smallest pieces of handluggage we had (which could have fit perfectly) was maybe 1mm oversized.

At this point I just wanted to get home, we were already really delayed by all this so Ill pay the excess.
Just to let you know, I am perfectly calm, and just take it as a big joke, and just try to get things moving along by complying to whatever they say so I can get back to Sydney. Paying excess aparently is a real hassle if your receipt (which the ground staff write on and give you) does not have a Mr or Mrs in front of your name (the other lady forgot it). Which means they have to somehow reprint the boarding passes and make you go through all that stuff about checking your id all over again. It took us 50 mins to sort it out, and we had only 10 mins before the gate closed and had to still go through intl. security etc.

Not being rude or abusive I tell the lady behind the counter, not knowing what was going to happen next, all of this had been quite inconvenient. Should have just kept quiet I guess because the abuse from her that followed I did not expect (as an icing on the cake). She basically told me that the reason my flights got cancelled, the faulty booking system and their rude manner in which they handle me is actually
MY OWN FAULT and that I just should go and f*ck myself. (she litterarely said that).
I ask one of the other girls to grab the manager because I am not taking that bullshit from noone. I work in the travel industry aswell and I never talk to customers like that, however she probably got the charm from her actual manager because he was an abusive cunt aswell.

I just left them shouting and screaming it up, and caught my flight ignorng the whole thing.

But um.. Jetstar. never again. I also yet have to receive my $277 back. Which they stole.
