No check-in luggage for 6+ days because of unethical and corrupted Denpasar airport counter staff

Tips for everyone:
1. Never pack valuables in your check-in luggage, because you might not see them again. Make your luggage stand out with something like a colour strip.
2. Be very careful with airport check-in staff in Asia, especially places like Bali Denpasar airport. They could do dodgy and unethical things to your check-in luggage. I had a conflict wit the check-in staff because he was trying to fool us and get us to pay for more check-in luggage, so he can put money into his own pocket. Then my luggage was sitting at Denpasar airport for 6+ days without loading to any flights.

We have got our luggage back finally after 6+ days since Christmas Eve. We are glad to receive the immediate email response and actions from the Jetstar Australia CEO and Executive Care after we expressed our desperate need for help (it is suggested that you write your email in a constructive manner and they would be more likely to read and reply). It was the highlight and our faith is restored.
1 day after the response, the Denpasar airport staff said they found our luggage and finally shipped it over to Melbourne (Well they simply did not load our luggage to any flights for the whole time, more precisely, 7+ days. It was always sitting there at the Denpasar airport, and all the staff at the Denpasar airport just denied the existence of our luggage and no one would provide the loading record of our luggage. Finally they had to because the matter was escalated and they were under pressure. Very dodgy Denpasar airport staff).

So what happened:
We arrived in Melbourne from Bali on 24th Dec 2016, and did not have our check-in luggage at the arrival. Our flight was direct from Denpasar to Melbourne. It's Christmas and we had all our presents and souvenirs purchased from Bali.

Additional Information:
Because of Jetstar’s WorldTracer system’s flaw, we realised that Denpasar airport staff is taking advantage of it. During the check-in at Denpasar airport, the check-in counter staff was trying to fool us and get us to have more luggage checked and pay for extra which is totally unnecessary because all luggage we had was well within the weight limit. Why did he do this? Because he can put the money into his own pocket. Of course we didn’t fall into the trick, but the staff might be unhappy and then put our luggage on other flights, so we would be frustrated and upset. Why could he do this? Because the loading information is not recorded in the system and the only people that know the loading record is Denpasar airport, which is exactly what happen and what Jetstar service staff was telling me every day. Power with supervision leads to corruption. Now we can say it is most likely true because we have got our luggage back and we have figured out what happened.

Well don't fly Jetstar then.....surely you've read the comments on this site as it is aptly named 'Don't fly Jetstar' and realise this is going to end bad if I fly with them 'Shitstar'

hopefully you have a travel

hopefully you have a travel insurance and shoddy Jetstar will eventually manage to find your luggage. But honestly I wouldn't bother flying Jetstar- for a little extra amount, there are other airlines infinitely more professional and competent. good luck
