rob on the webpage of jetstar there is a cutomer feedback form wherein you can lodge your complaint in. they say that the customer relation team of jetstar will take a look on what happend and will contact you regarding the matter.

Hi Rob,
I'm the one who had to pay for the same flight.
Jetstar is not going to refund the money that I had to pay for Qantas.
I called the service line but the English speaker said "SO WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO"
I gave up for this crazy service.
I called Japanese service line and their service was bit better than English line.
I asked them why there are so many people could take same flight for free and I had to pay.
They said they offered me the next day flight for free so it's fair.
No matter what I say, they doesn't care.
We shouldn't answered their call in the morning...
People who never received a call from jetstar could take Qantas flight for free.
I don't understand.
This is so unfair.

Hi Kazumi
I've sent you a friend request on Facebook. I've been in contact with the Dept of fair trading and got some legal advice as well and it would appear that there is discriminatory behaviour here. Anyway I don't want to discuss it on a public forum so if you can accept the friend request I will keep you informed via facebook message or preferably via private email.
