Shocking safety

I couldn't do up my seat belt on a recent flight because it was broken. The plane was full and I couldn't even move seats. So I took off and landed without a seat belt....thankfully the slack flight crew didn't notice because I think if they saw me without a seat belt fastened they would have thrown me off the flight. I'm not surprised the crew didn't notice because I saw them behind the curtain drinking.

HA! A foul testament to

HA! A foul testament to jestar's staff!
Let me dig deeper. Travis will come up with the goods to ruin this company once and for all!!

Yeah because Jetstar staff

Yeah because Jetstar staff love risking their jobs. My guess that this obserd drinking allegation is because Jetstar crew are so sick of whingers like so, hence they feel alcohol is a problem solver. However the real story would've been that you weren't responsible enough to let them know their was a broken seat belt which Im sorry to burst your bubble but is the result of wear & tear. As for Jetstar staff drinking, Ludicrous!!!

If jetstar staff didnt want

If jetstar staff didnt want to risk their jobs why would they act like such arseholes to the customers?
And if they cant hack their job without the aid of alcohol they should go back to working at KFC.

You're a dick anonymous. The

You're a dick anonymous. The Jetstar idiot staff never noticed me when I forgot to wear my seatbelt. You must work for them, you're the nasty, inept and complacent staff we are all talking about on here.

Jetstar is a very poor

Jetstar is a very poor airline, I would never fly with them. They do not have a domestic business class cabin and they do not have an international first class cabin. Cramped economy class seats and appalling customer service are not my cup of tea. I think I'll stick to flying in first and business class with Qantas. I think Qantas should distance themselves from Jetstar and sell any equity they have in the said airline.

So we forgot to were our seat

So we forgot to were our seat belt now. Whos the more idiot person who forgot to wear their seatbelt despite there being several announcements and a big seat belt sign in front of them or the cabin crew who are responsible for 180 people. Seeing as though it wasn't a broken seat belt do we want to fall on our sword about the staff drinking as well.

I'm sorry but your whole

I'm sorry but your whole story sounds like a lie to me, there I said it A BIG FAT LIE!

The cabin crew check the entire cabin before take-off and before landing. This is a known and documented procedure

The aircraft is not allowed to leave the ground unless ALL occupied seats on-board the aircraft have a working seatbelt...

Enough said...

So "Josh", hows the jetstar

So "Josh", hows the jetstar gig going? Satisfying work? HA!
As you are probably well aware, this is JETSTAR we are talking about.
They cut as many corners as they can get away with. Enough said.

It is a BIG FAT LIE. They

It is a BIG FAT LIE. They cant even stick to the original story.

Anonymous works for Jetstar,

Anonymous works for Jetstar, one of those clones who try to make out the passenger is wrong...liars etc. For your information Anonymous (too afraid to pen a name to your ravings), I also forgot to put my seatbelt on...I was too sidetracked by the impertinence of the CSA. There is a camera above the cockpit door and it would have clearly shown what transpired. That be as it may, it is up to cabin staff to ensure all passengers are buckled up. But the staff culture is to treat passengers with distain and in turn, I am not surprised they did not do their job correctly. In saying that, no all staff are rude, but most of them are. I always find the friendly ones are fairly new to the job and have not had time to turn savage. So anonymous, by virtue of the fact you are trolling through this site only suggests the comments are getting to you. Job done. I don't suppose you would be intelligent enough to take all these horror stories on board and attempt to make passenger's flight experiences happy ones.

I do not work for Jetstar.

I do not work for Jetstar. However it does get to me when people make up rubbish stories like this about any airline. When you get in the to the car do you not put yourseat belt on first? The only thing different in a plane is they have announcements and a big sign above your head to remind the slower people. Obviously some people can't do basic things themselves.

Ha! You do not work for

Ha! You do not work for Jetstar? Really? So you just CHOOSE to spend your life on this site defending an airline without getting any benefit from it? What a pathetic, sad & useless life you lead!

No, I and other probably

No, I and other probably don't work for Jetstar, I stumbled on this website by accident while looking for other information on JQ, given that Jetstar has never done any wrong by me so I'll stick up for them.

Also, if the aircraft DID happen to have a broken seatbelt the CASA would be jumping down Jetstar's throat and fining them for endangering passenger safety.

Yes, Jetstar cut down on some non-essential items to pass on a lower airfare to the customer, but safety isn't one of them, what really amazes me is the number of people who come on here and bitch and moan yet continue to fly with them.

Drinking... water? Because

Drinking... water? Because you know, flight attendants are human beings, they need food and water to survive too.
As for the seatbelt, you would not have been kicked off the flight, they would have figured it out if you had taken the responsibility upon yourself to inform someone that the seatbelt was broken, there would not be a problem. What exactly was wrong with the seatbelt?

I have fallen across this

I have fallen across this site by accident whilst checking seating arrangements for a future flight.
I notice with amusement the comments that Lillia has posted. If it were true as she asserts that the flight crew were on the booze at a given time coinciding with the fastening and non fastening of seat belts, I would assume this was prior to landing as opposed to take off. Now how do I come to this conclusion? WELL, if the crew were on the booze it would not be at lift off and more than likely it would take place near the end of a journey. Now you well educated folks might have trouble reasoning as to how, (according to Lillian) the shellacked crew would "throw me off the flight"
The only logic I can muster up is that they shove her out of the emergency door onto the tarmac, or neighboring houses whilst in the process of landing. But then, one would hope that the shellacked crew would show some compassion and fit Lillian with a life jacket before jettisoning her from the airplane. With good timing, lillian could wind up in a dam or lake and thus live on to tell more adventurous stories.

This would have to be the

This would have to be the most idiotic story I have ever seen on this website.
