Stunned at the lack of interest or care.

Jetstar you have failed on five major accounts:
1) Failed to notify us the the flight was cancelled.
2) Failed to have any representation at Denpasar International.
3) Failed to respond in a reasonable length of time.
4) Failed to respond within the promised fifteen days.
5) Failed to offer reasonable compensation following my phone call, second letter of explanation and third written complaint.

We had paid for two seats on Jetstar Flight VF242, Denpasar to Singapore and adjoining flights 3K535 from Singapore to Phuket. Our Booking Reference is DF1PFX.
Our flight VF242 was scheduled to depart Denpasar at 1045 on Wednesday 29th October 2014 and our 3K535 was scheduled to depart Changi at 1445 on the same day.
We arrived at Denpasar International Airport at 0800 and preceded to find the Jetstar Check In counter. When we could not find a Jetstar Check In counter, we asked three different airport staff for help and were told that there was no VF242 and
at no time during that day were any Jetstar flights to Singapore listed on the Denpasar International Airport Departure Boards. We checked on the Jetstar Web Site and the only flight listed on http://booknow.jetstar.com/FlifoSearch.aspx was JQ116 scheduled for 2245 that night.
We called the Jetstar Customer Service number 001 8038529779 at 0847 and spoke with Cem Enrico in the Philippines for 38 minutes.
Cem tried to tell us at first that our flight was still scheduled for 1045, she then changed her story and tried to tell us that it was scheduled for 2245. When Cathy explained that there were no Jetstar flights to Singapore on the departure board, Cem said we would be refunded. Then Cem said we could not be refunded because the flight was still Schedueled and then changed her reason saying it was because of the class of tickets we had. Cem then asked what time it was in Bali, it was then about 0909 and Cathy reinforced that there were still no Jetstar flights to Singapore on the board and there was no one at the Jetstar counters.
By the time Cem agreed that we should receive a refund, we had missed any opportunity to catch any flights that would enable us to make our connecting Jetstar flight from Singapore to Phuket.
While trying to find an alternative flight with Air Asia we met another couple that were also booked on Jetstar flight VF242 and were experiencing the same dilemma. Tan and Nguyen offered us their Email address' so we exchanged contact details.
On arrival in Singapore we met with a very helpful lady called Denise at the Jetstar counter. Denise explained that our bookings were made with Valueair, but were now being handle by 3K. On three occasions Denise tried to find the Duty Manager from 3K, however this person appeared to be there, but to busy to talk with us.
We have documented proof that flight VF242 from Denpasar did not exist on that day and at no time was any advice offered in reference to a change in flight schedule.
On 30th October 2014 we requested that this matter be dealt with promptly and that the costs of the last minute Air Asia flight AU$412.57, unplanned meals AU$98.50, phone calls AU$20 and unplanned transportation AU$50 be reimbursed.

Our planned journey should have seen us at our destination in Phuket by 1600, because of Jetstar's incompetence we did not arrive until 2330. To ad to our dismay, on arrival we discovered that the screen on our new HP laptop was smashed while on the Jetstar flight to Phuket, another AU$400 cost. Because we chose to fly with Jetstar we were seven and a half hours late and AU$981.07 out of pocket. So far all we have received is AU$184 refund for our original cancelled flight. No apology and no explanation.
We now seek AU$1,000 compensation for inconvenience stress and holiday time lost, plus the amount of AU$981.07 that we are out of pocket.
We have sent two requests using http://www.jetstar.com/au/en/what-we-offer/our-guarantees/customer-guara... and only received an automated reply.

Yes, Jetstar don't care. The 2475 linked to this site is no big deal either, until there is 250,000 plus linked to this site we are just a pimple (easily squeezed and poped) on the corporate rump of qantas. A refund of your flights with jetstar is all you will ever get, as you said, jetstar/qantas don't care.
