unable to contact Jetstar call centre

I was on a return flight from Sunshine Coast the other day. I wanted to buy check in luggage over the phone which I could not do online since I bought my ticket from flight centre. Long story short, I was on hold for over 22 min with Jetstar call centre which finally had to hand up. I had to pay $70 at the airport to but luggage only because of poor customer service of Jetstar would not take my call...I will never going to travel with them.

I’m sorry to hear about the wait to answer your call. You’re entitled to prompt and friendly service from all of our staff and I’m sorry if this wasn’t the case for you.

If you are not the contact or passenger on a booking we can’t make changes such as adding baggage due to privacy. In your case though, if you were the travelling passenger it should not be a problem to make changes through Telephone Reservations if your booking was made by a travel agent.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience this has caused and if you wish to fill out some feedback with more details about your booking we’d be happy to investigate why you were unable to add baggage.
