So I'm currently trying to book a flight from Melbourne to the Sunshine coast on my Qantas frequent flyers. Everything's going fine - I hit "Purchase" and nothing happens. No 'thinking' icon, no indication at the bottom of the webpage that anything's happening, nothing. So I wait several minutes and try again. Nothing. I believe (and I can't be sure because I don't want to /test/ it, that the issue is happening because there's no credit card charge. It's all FF points. The website seems to not be able to handle that.) So I call customer service and am told that the wait will be longer than 30mins. I had things to do, so I put them on loud speaker and waited. And waited. And waited.
Nearly an hour and a half I waited to speak to someone. Classic indian accent where I had to spell EVERYTHING, and as we were coming to confirmation he put me on hold - not for too long - but when he came back, he obviously hit the wrong key and killed the line!
So I waited 80mins on the phone - now after midnight for NOTHING! AND he didn't even call me back!
I am SO angry right now.
I have the flu, I should have been in bed, but no, wanted to get this sorted, and now, for it all to be for nothing!?! ARGHHH!!
This is all their fault - their webpage, their phone operators - it's almost enough to make me not take the flight with them!
Thank you for the outlet to vent my frustration!
