Worst Airline Ever!!

Wow, I've flown around the world and never come across a piece of junk airline like that encountered on my recent trip to Oz.

First, arriving at check-in at Kansai I was informed that my connecting flight from Cairns to Brisbane had been cancelled, and that they had actually changed my flight to Oz for the next day as a result. I was dumbfounded having heard nothing from Jetscum in advance. They at least managed to get me on the correct flight to Oz as it wasn't full.

Then, 3 days before we were to return I got an email saying my flight back to Kansai had been put back an hour, yet somehow the arrival time was now 4 hours later. Seeking to understand the logic behind this I made the mistake of thinking I could get an answer from their ridiculous call centre. 'Angel' in Manila had no clue (of course) and after keeping me waiting 30 minutes came back with the explanation for the missing three hours as "an operational decision". WTF! This bullshit default answer only made me madder.

The reason became evident when we got to Cairns. They had cancelled the original flight to Osaka, and put those passengers on the flight to Tokyo. Hey, it's better for them to have one full plane, rather than two half full ones, right? Screw the inconvenience to the customer.

My ticket said Cairns to Osaka yet at Tokyo we had to get off the plane. I thought we would just be hanging around a lounge until the plane was cleaned but after a long walk we came to another security check. Of course, no fluids are allowed through, which was trouble for me having bought 8 bottles of wine at Cairns. After much heated debate with Japanese officials (Jetscum staff being nowhere to be seen) a compromise was reached and the duty free was checked in at the gate.

By the time we arrived in Osaka it was nearly midnight, with no buses running. My daughter was fast asleep and had to be carried (hard with lots of luggage). Having to work the next day, we were all shattered. And why? So that Jetscum can maximise it's profits. I hope they go bankrupt by years end.

When you buy crap you get

When you buy crap you get crap.

Being low cost they do this

Being low cost they do this kind of thing to keep costs down and in turn remain competitive in the market and keep fares as low as they can. Think of it as an adventure. You're still alive aren't you.

Ok 1) Customs has absolutely

Ok
1) Customs has absolutely NOTHING to do with the airline you are flying with. It's a law in australia that you can not take more than 100ml containers of liquid onto an aircraft unlesss it has been purchased once you have gone through customs, I'm not sure what the law is in Japan, but that is Japan's customs laws, not Jetstar's rules.

2) There was an earthquake in Japan on the 13 of march, Every single airline that flies there had to rearrange their schedule's to make aircraft more available to people who needed to get in or out of Japan because of the horrendous natural disaster.
