crap star

booked a direct flight decmeber 2009 from sydney to bali everything was confirmed the night before on the day of our flight jetstar called my home phone 6 hours before our flight and said our fliht had been changed to stop in darwin and brought forward 2 hours! i was told to go international airport! and i asked about surfboards if they would be fine they said everything would be fine.

Got to international airport 1 hour early to find out that we had to go to domestic airport with surfboards and baggage jumped on shuttle bus rushed to domestic terminal at sydney.

Had to pay $100 excess baggage for my surfboards, then the flight was delayed 1 hour to darwin!! stressed and flustered by all the rushing around it was very annoying to find out our inflight entertainment we booked for our flight to bali wasnt valid for domestic flights!!!!! i was so angry the jetstar flight attendants where very sympathetic and conducted themselves very well which helped in a very bad situation.

on arrival to darwin we had to wait another 2 hours for a plane to refill ect. which was ridiculous when we should had flown straight to bali!!

on arrival to bali late at night i was tired and exhausted as well as my girl friend the whole trip was stressful experience!!!

to make things worse on the way to picking up my luggage i find that my surfboards havent arrived in depesar bali!!!!!

great!! go to bali for a surfing holiday for amonth and my surfboards dont arrive and imagine trying to orgainse or located them from the airport at bali!!!! after a long disorganised trip

jetstar i was so angry

for 5 days i constantly rand bali airport to locate my surfboards and jetstar baggage compliants service no one knew where my surfboards where!!!! jetstar said they sent them to sinapore from darwin and that they where trying to locate them 5 days later i call my family and tell them about my horror experince and how furious i was !!! only to find my father had to go to the airport and pick them up!!

apparently they didnt put them on the flight from sydney!!!!!
very frustrating

and make it worse how hard it was to get my money back for paying excess baggage for no reason!!
just to orgainse refunds vouchers ect it was mission impossible i would have more chance getting struck by lightning then to have talked to jetstar to resolve my issue

so after about 2 weeks back home we where given both me and my girl friend 2 $100 vouchers to use with jetstar i didnt want them i never want to fly with them again i wanted my cash back for paying them for excess baggage that i never received. We were told that we had 12 months to redeem these vouchers!!!

NOW when we go to use the vouchers we find that they are invalid and expired !!! after being told we had 12 months to use them

no we are trying to orgainse to redeem these vouchers finding it so hard to contact someone to help us redeem our vouchers!!! been told to write a letter to complain!! what a joke on the website says that they will resolve all issues ect.. all these lies!! they say very frustrating.

can anyone help us with this horror story??? any advice or people who can can help us please?????

Who wants Jetsstar vouchers when you probably wont ever fly Jetstar again.

They are such a crap airline.

They are such a crap airline. My wife and I fly to Cairns Queensland and theres nobody at home as we live alone. Well while we are away from home the bright people at Jetstar send an email to me telling my wife and I that when we fly home we are to go to the International terminal not the domestic as we were originally told on our schedule. You can believe that at no time did I or my wife look at our email and had no idea that things had changed.

The mistake cost us from memory over $100 each for their mistake and the wait for the plane was ridiculous, it was at least two hours. Do you know what, that they took three months to return our money and acted like it wasn't a such a big problem.

Have you checked out the booking system lately, wow thats incredible, absolute crap and the rorting carried out during the process of having boxes ticked for all the extra's at extra cost which if you don't want them have to go back and untick doing the whole process again, all I can say is future customers be careful as there out to play on your ignorance and FRAUD you especially their brilliant Credit Card fee and so called Booking Fee, they are crooks spitting on the law and taking everybody for a ride, there are joke.
