We are flying domestically from gold coast to Sydney. Somehow we ended up on an international connecting flight, so we asked the service desk for a assistance. The first response is "nothing we can do" followed by "change of flight fees" and "that's why its a cheaper flight" the guy seemed as though this is a common problem. He then almost cheerily advised us of the $4 shuttle bus to get to our car parked at the domestic terminal. WHY OFFER AN INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT FOR DOMESTIC FLIERS???
so we decided to carry on.
We had to have the initial screen, the second screen and go through customs. I got cheek from the lady at second screening because of our aerosols. We even had to throw out a brand new deodorant. Those things aren't cheap mate!
These bastards are never getting another flight paid for by us. Its virgin or tiger all the way!

I have just used the contact phone number as per your internet page, to contact Jetstar re changing my baggage details, by adding an extra suitcase. I need to take an extra case on my flight to Australia. I wanted to organise it before I departed to the Honolulu airport. 1866# Ph. rang many times and then a voice told me the number is not in service. What happens if it is a really urgent matter? Your service stinks!!! I have just spent an hour tracing a contact # to be told it does not exist. How does one get contact with Jetstar from Honolulu? Suggest you remove the # from your website. Is this airline always so inefficient?

Oh NO! You lost a brand new deodorant!?!? God I wouldn't fly Jetstar again either if that happened to me! Even if I did make the booking and tick a box that said I acknowledged I was leaving from an international airport terminal.

Face book user ? no name !!! maybe you work for jetstar , What happens to the items that get taken off you including 1.1 ltr black label jack ? becaus you are returning from o/seas international flight to brisbane but have to change in melbourne which then becomes domestic to bne .wtf .WARNING !!! dont go duty free shopping at the international airport on your return trip you will lose it ,HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND JETSTAR AT YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS EXPENCE.dose not matter if its deoderant or liquor or expensive perfume purchased as a gift it seems if jetstar can cause some sort of discomfort they will do there best to achieve this after they have recieved your money ,on the ground or in the air no differance, I purchased a brand new suitcase which looked as it had been jammed on the conveyer belt and was ripped and plastic wheels were melted out of shape reported at arrival manila and representative asked how old was my suitcase ,I replied less than 24 hours ,a report was written and photos taken instructed to claim when back to Australia ,the suitcase was thrown out and purchased a new one for the return trip ,SURPRISE SURPRISE , back in Australia when I went to submit the claim ,"I am sorry sir but you need to bring the damaged bag to the airport so we can send it away for assessment , you mean I needed to carry the damaged bag back from o/seas as extra baggage ,who will pay for the freight for excess ,say no more waste of time thank you jetstar.
