1 bag doesn't make it onto the akl - syd flight. Mine.
48 hours later it's delivered to sydney airport. (allegedly)
But no one knows when it will be delivered to me. No one has a phone number for the courier company that supposedly delivers missing luggage. No one answers the phone 02 969 32563 at Sydney airport. The call center can't get through to them, I can't get through to them. The call center can't tell you the name of the courier company so trying to make contact directly is an utter waste of time. I can't figure out whether I should just go to the airport to try and find my luggage because it may have been stuck in a van already. But as I mentioned there's no way to confirm that, because no ph numbers anywhere get through to anyone...unless you consider the call center in the Phillppines getting through to someone.
I tried the head office (allegedly) of the company that handles Jetstars luggage - no answer there either. Surprise surprise.
Tomorrow I go to Hong Kong - I suspect without bag, clothes, power supply etc.
Without a doubt the worst travel experience I've ever had. 20 years of constant travel I've never encountered such utter ineptitude and lack of accountability. Infuriating in every sense.
Disgusted.
