I tried to book 3 tickets online with JS and they 1) wouldn't allow me to book 3 tickets w different baggage requirements 2) charged me almost 200bucks more for each ticket. So I decided to book each ticket individually. After i completed my booking for the first ticket and went back to book the second, ticket prices increased by 100bucks! As I thought it was a glitch I refreshed a few more times and finally tickets went up by 200bucks. Naturally I called Customer Services and the answer I got was: 1) You should have called in to make your booking - (when asked why wasn't it stated as a disclaimer online, the supervisor said: Why should there be a disclaimer?) 2) You have bought the last ticket at that price (Doesn't matter that it is different baggage requirements for all 3 tickets) 3) there is no such thing as a refund, you can credit it for something else but needs to be done in 24hrs 4) You have been notified of your options and there is nothing else I (supervisor) can ARGUE with you on this. I am now stuck w 1 ticket and if I want to fly w my companions, I'll have to pay 200 bucks more per pax.
Other budget airlines do not operate in such a way and I think it is completely unethical and a huge scam!!!! Either you allow individualised group bookings or you INFORM clients to call in!
