I flew from Hobart to Melbourne and bring frozen salmon I bought from local market with their signature cooler bag and ice cubes inside. The shopper has ensured me that I can bring it to Melbourne.
At the airport, the airport security has already informed us that I can bring that frozen salmon to the plane (the restriction is we can’t bring the salmon in to Hobart, but can bring out Hobart), but the Jetstar crew insisted that I can’t travel and must throw away the frozen salmon which has been packed in cooler bag.
After I threw away the frozen Salmon (I still keep the cooler bag with nothing inside), the Jetstar crew insisted to check on our bags, and said that she didn’t see us throw the frozen salmon, and only found the ice cubes. But when we asked her to watch the CCTV, she refused it. I am so disappointed, I have been accused lying only to bring frozen salmon. After checked on our bags and found nothing, she didn’t even say sorry or thanks.
This was not my first time travel from hobart to melbourne, every time I travel here, I always bring frozen salmon from Hobart, but this is the first time I can’t bring it to melbourne.
